Philadelphia LRIG Event Showcases Lab Instrumentation

Novel Technologies Facilitate Lab Productivity

WESTBROOK, Maine (June 6, 2022) – The Laboratory Research and Innovation Group (LRIG) is a special interest group focused on laboratory automation, having thousands of scientists and engineers in chapters all over the United States. The Philadelphia chapter is hosting their annual vendor show at the Alloy DoubleTree by Hilton, King of Prussia, PA, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm EST on Thursday June 16th, 2022. There will be ample opportunities for area scientists and engineers to network and share ideas. A list of session abstracts being presented at the event can be found here.

The event will be showcasing the latest developments in laboratory instrumentation, automation, software, reagents, and consumables. Artel will be present to talk to labs about how to optimize their assay workflows and will be demonstrating the many ways in which the MVS (Multichannel Verification System) can be employed – ranging from liquid class optimization to interim verification, scale-up, method transfer, labware qualification, trouble shooting and calibration. The new QualAssure™ SerumSub™ solutions, used with the MVS®, allows scientists to customize liquid class settings to provide greater accuracy and precision in assay results without expending precious sera samples to do so. The QualAssure PCRMix™ solution is used similarly for assays involving the use of costly PCR master mixes.  Workflows can be complex, highly individualized and challenging to optimize – and the Artel scientists on hand at the event look forward to discussing these issues and helping you design the best path forward.

Melinda Gold, Ph.D. of Artel will be giving a Novel Technology Presentation titled “Improve Your Assay Automation Workflow with New QualAssure Solutions from Artel” at 5:50pm EST. If you are unable to attend the event or would like more information, please send a request to [email protected]
