First ISO 17025 Accredited Service for Liquid Handlers

ISO 17025 is the international standard which defines the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Artel has been accredited since 2004, and its technology has long been used by customers worldwide to deliver excellence in volume measurement and confidence in test results.

The Accredited Calibration Service (ACS) provides assurance of accredited, NIST-traceable volumetric verification to all users of automated liquid handling equipment This service is performed by scientists who have been trained and certified with a range of commonly used robots from such manufacturers as Tecan, Beckman/Labcyte, Hamilton, Eppendorf, Agilent, Perkin Elmer, and more.  Customers are provided with as-found, in-process, and as-left NIST-traceable calibration data and ISO 17025 compliant calibration and calibration labels for their ALHs upon completion. ACS also complies with ISO’s IWA 15, “Specification and method for the determination of performance of automated liquid handling systems”, helping satisfy regulatory requirements.
