Fall LRIG Events

Networking & Learning Opportunities for Laboratory Robotics & Automation Professionals

WESTBROOK, Maine (October 14, 2022) – Two chapters of the Laboratory Research and Innovation Group (LRIG) are holding networking events this month. The New England chapter will have its Fall Seminar and Exhibition meeting in Boston on October 24th at the Marriott Cambridge. Artel Applications Scientist Mike Grimaldi will be presenting “An Easy Four Step Process for Automated Liquid Handler liquid Class Optimization” at 4:30pm. The San Diego chapter is hosting a similar meeting on October 26th at the Bella Vista in San Diego.

There will be numerous opportunities for area scientists and laboratorians to network and share ideas at these meetings. The latest developments in laboratory instrumentation, automation, software, reagents, and consumables will be on display. The new Artel QualAssure™ solutions – both SerumSub™ and PlasProxy™ will be highlighted.   When used with the Artel MVS® these solutions allow scientists to customize liquid class settings to provide greater accuracy and precision in assay results without expending precious sera and plasma samples.  The QualAssure PCRMix™ solution will also be featured and is used similarly for assays involving the use of costly PCR master mixes.  The goal as always is minimizing time, reducing costs, and optimizing assay and process quality.

Artel applications and field scientists will be available at both events – Cambridge and San Diego.  They will be eager to explore ideas for optimizing assay workflows and how the MVS® can be employed – ranging from liquid class optimization to interim verification, scale-up, method transfer, labware qualification, trouble shooting and calibration. Assay workflows can be complex, highly individualized and challenging to optimize – and the Artel scientists look forward to discussing these issues and helping you design your best path forward.
